How to be secured and aware in spiritual warfare

Job 1:1-7 “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and [a]shunned evil. 2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him……7 And the Lord said to [b]Satan, “From where do you come? So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
Job had a big family and wealth, but he also feared God. This meeting was not on earth but in heaven, this was a divine meeting where God was discussing things concerning the earth. God was testifying about Job, that he is God-fearing, then God asked the devil where do you come from? He said “I come from wandering around the world, and from walking here and there”. This means you should know that we are living in this world in a place of war, the devil is there and he is walking, so we should be careful in our ways so that we can be safe.
Job 1:9-10 “So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not [a] made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
There are three things that God did to Job:-
• God put a cage around Job,
• God put a cage in Job’s house (for all those in his house).
• God put a cage on his properties
This means that there are three areas in our lives that need to be protected spiritually, those areas are:-
• Yourself
• Your household (people in your household)
• What you own (your property)
When you are with God, He puts a cage on you in everything. Why does He put a cage on you? Because there is someone who wants to destroy you. It is very important for you as a living Christian to know that God protects you, your family and your property. You need a spiritual shield that will keep you safe in everything you have.
