APOSTLE AND PROPHET JOSEPHAT ELIAS MWINGIRA.
You provoke God to say and do certain things to you because of certain things you do. Isaiah 65:24– “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” How does this signify? When you do something that causes God to say or do to you, He responds to you rather than what you have said. Thus, provoke God into action by doing something in His Kingdom in order to get Him to defend you.
God hears the prayers of many but answers few, why? Because there are things you have to do.
If you want to touch God and make Him act for you, you should do the following:-
1. Giving beyond expectations.
Why is the Queen of Sheba’s giving still remembered today? because she gave beyond what was anticipated. Giving beyond what is expected of you is what provokes God to ask, “What do you want Me to do for you?” You can pray a lot for other things, but until you give God more than you expect, He won’t answer your prayers.
2 Chronicles 7:1-3 “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’s house. And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down,…”
When you give up everything to build the Lord’s house, He will purify you and everything that holds you back and troubles you shall free you from captivity and even make you a glory to Him. If you want to see God’s glory for you, make sure you build God’s house. The glory of God is your protection. If you understand this, no one can destroy you because God’s glory is above you to protect you.
