MESSAGE OF THE DAY.
By Apostle and Prophet Josephat Elias Mwingira, Efatha Church.
1 Corinthians 1:1-2 “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
The word of God is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.
During the time of Noah, as he was building the Ark, people thought he was foolish and mocked him. However, when the rain started to fall, they remembered him with regret. Noah built the Ark, but it was God who closed the door. Why did God close it? Because He knew that if He left it to Noah, he might have out of compassion allowed more people in, and in the end, the Ark would have sunk.
If you are on a journey to Heaven, hold on tightly to the Word of God and always desire to dwell in His presence. When you leave the presence of God, He won’t come looking for you; He will seek someone else to fill that space, and on the last day, you will be left behind.
God is doing everything to gather His own, calling them to repent, letting the wicked remain wicked, and the righteous to become more righteous. The question is, when the trumpet sounds, where will you be? Will you be with Jesus or with the world? What force will drive you at that moment? Is it the pursuit of wealth or the pursuit of God? May God give you understanding, the ability to hold onto and respect His Word.
No matter how much pain you’ve been through, may God embrace you, causing you to forget your pain.
